The Department of Sociology offers a dual bachelor of arts with a major in sociology and a master of arts in the field of sociology degree programs. The program is ideal for undergraduate students who wish to continue their education in sociology on an accelerated timeline.
The BA/MA program allows students to take 9 graduate credits as part of their undergraduate degree, thereby decreasing the number of credits normally required for the master's. All requirements for both degrees must be fulfilled.
Students interested in the dual degree program should apply to the graduate portion of the program no later than April 1 of their junior year. Visit the program website for additional information.
