The Milken Institute School of Public Health offers a dual bachelor of science with a major in nutrition and any master of public health in any field (MPH) degree program. The program allows students to take 12 credits in graduate-level courses during their undergraduate program. The credits are counted toward both degrees, thereby decreasing the number of credits normally required for the master's. All requirements for both degrees must be fulfilled.

Credit sharing: 12 credits
For each MPH course taken in the dual degree program, the corresponding undergraduate course cannot be used to waive a BS in nutrition guided elective. For example, if a student takes PUBH 6003 as an undergraduate, thereby waiving PUBH 3131, they cannot take PUBH 3131 and count it as a guided elective.
