The Milken Institute School of Public Health offers a dual bachelor of science with a major in nutrition and any master of public health (MPH) degree program. The program allows students to take 12 credits in graduate-level courses during their undergraduate program. The credits are counted toward both degrees, thereby decreasing the number of credits normally required for the master's. All requirements for both degrees must be fulfilled.

Credit sharing: 12 credits
For each MPH course taken in the dual degree program, the corresponding undergraduate course cannot be used to waive a BS in nutrition guided elective. For example, if a student takes PUBH 6003 as a shared course, they cannot take PUBH 3131 and count it as a guided elective.

**For PUBH 6021, no specific undergraduate course is waived. The 2 credits earned in PUBH 6007 plus the 1 credit earned in PUBH 6021 waive a 3-credit BS in nutrition elective.
