The critical infrastructure security and resilience graduate certificate program provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary to assess and apply industry best practices to the challenges facing homeland security across the local, national, and global contexts. Students gain insight into political violence, infrastructure protection, cybersecurity, and the role of advanced technologies in threat detection, response, and resilience. The program focuses on strategies, policies, and trends necessary for those in intelligence, law enforcement, emergency management, and related fields to excel in their careers and for those who are ready to begin a career in the homeland security profession.
Credits earned in the critical infrastructure security and resilience certificate program can be applied toward the requirements for the master's degree in homeland security or master's degree in cybersecurity strategy and information management.
