Minor in Health Data Analytics

The health data analytics minor provides students with programming and data science skills applicable to using healthcare datasets to answer individual and population healthcare questions and provide new insights. These technical skills are in high demand in hospitals and medical centers, government agencies, consulting firms, and global health care organizations. Students will get hands-on experience with analytic tools and algorithms that can be applied to big data and electronic health records.

 The following requirements must be fulfilled: 18 credits, including 12 credits in required courses and 6 credits in elective courses.
