Dual Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences with a Major in Medical Genetics and Molecular Biology and Master of Science in Health Sciences in the Field of Clinical Microbiology

The George Washington University (GW) offers a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences (BSHS) in Medical Genetics and Molecular Biology and a Master of Science in Health Science (MSHS) in Clinical Microbiology all in one convenient program.

Through online coursework, hands-on lab work and clinical rotations this dual-degree program provides you with the knowledge and skills to detect and identify biomarkers at the nucleic acid levels in major areas of medicine and to identify and investigate human infectious diseases.

The School of Medicine and Health Sciences offers a dual bachelor of science in health sciences with a major in medical genetics and molecular biology (BSHS) and master of science in health sciences in the field of clinical microbiology (MSHS) degree program. The program allows students to share 9 credits between the two programs, thereby decreasing the number of credits normally required for the master's degree. All requirements for both degrees must be fulfilled.
