Master of Arts in Education and Human Development in the Field of Israel Education

The master of arts in education and human development in the field of Israel education provides rigorous academic preparation in the fields of experiential education and Israel studies towards the development of professional Israel educators. This unique integration of study enhances the content knowledge, conceptual approaches, and pedagogical methods of Israel educators serving schools, summer camps, college campus organizations, community centers and agencies, cultural institutions, immersive travel experiences, and other innovative educational settings. Coursework is designed to support direct application of learning into students’ current workplaces.

The following requirements must be fulfilled: 30 credits, including 24 credits in required courses and 6 credits in elective courses.

*Required only for students who place below a grade of Gimel (Hebrew for level C) on the placement exam.  Students who score C or higher on the placement exam, may complete either EDUC 6814 or an approved elective, to meet this course requirement.
