The Milken Institute School of Public Health offers a dual bachelor of science with a major in nutrition and any master of public health (MPH) degree program. The program allows students to take 9 credits in graduate-level courses during their undergraduate program. The credits are counted toward both degrees, thereby decreasing the number of credits normally required for the master's. All requirements for both degrees must be fulfilled.

Credit sharing: 9 credits
For each MPH course taken, the corresponding BS course should not be taken as a guided elective. MPH courses taken during the BS program and corresponding BS courses waived:
PUBH 6003Principles and Practices of Epidemiology (If taken, PUBH 3131 should not be taken as a guided elective.)
One BS in nutrition guided elective is waived.
PUBH 6007Social and Behavioral Approaches to Public Health (If taken, PUBH 2112 should not be taken as a guided elective.)
One BS in nutrition guided elective is waived.
PUBH 6012Fundamentals of Health Policy (If taken, PUBH 3135W should not be taken as a guided elective.)
One BS in nutrition guided elective is waived.
In addition, an approved 2-credit graduate elective replaces a 3-credit BS elective.
