The Department of Sociology and the Trachtenberg School of Public Policy and Public Administration (TSPPPA) in the Columbian College of Arts and Sciences together offer a dual bachelor of arts with a major in criminal justice (BA) and master of public administration (MPA) degree program. The BA/MPA allows students to complete 12 graduate credits as part of their undergraduate program, thereby decreasing the number of credits normally required for the master’s. All requirements for both degrees must be fulfilled.

All application materials for the MPA should be submitted, in person, to the Department of Sociology director of graduate studies. If approved by the Department of Sociology, all materials should then be submitted to TSPPPA by February 1 of the student’s junior year. Visit the program website for more information.
