An introduction to the practical challenges of transnational public procurement. Legal and policy issues, including export controls, anti-corruption requirements, and unique legal rules for certain types of foreign assistance.
By the completion of this course, the student will be able to: 1. Understand the challenges and opportunities present in transnational public procurement markets. 2. Identify and analyze key laws and policies governing contracts with foreign governments. 3. Demonstrate critical and analytical thinking skills applied to transnational public procurement issues. 4. Evidence effective research and scholarly writing skills through a research paper.
