A research and writing project completed under the supervision of the law school that integrates students' cumulative learning experiences in and demonstrates their understanding of government contract law and business. The project addresses a current acquisition issue of interest to the student. Students are expected to produce a final paper for submission to a relevant scholarly journal for publication.
Learning Objectives: Students will: 1. Develop topic and thesis statements. 2. Structure an analysis necessary to support a thesis and argument. 3. Develop draft outlines and detailed outlines. 4. Properly cite references. 5. Comply with academic integrity guidelines. 6. Identify strategies for publishing an academic paper. 7. Demonstrate ability to craft a publishable paper.
