Application of theory and practice acquired in prior courses to a real-world problem. Each semester the topic reflects a selected area of current importance in digital publishing.
At the completion of this course, students will have: - Understanding of the end-to-end planning and execution of a digital publishing project - Ability to apply principles and theory to the solution of a digital publishing problem - Working knowledge of project planning and project management tools - Ability to evaluate technologies and tools for application to a publishing problem - Knowledge of working within a team environment - Ability to analyze a digital publishing project and decompose it into manageable work-streams - A deeper understanding of tools for digital publishing
