Basic principles of cytopathology applied to cellular samples from fine needle aspirations of the head and neck region, breast, lymph nodes, soft tissues, and bone.
Upon successful completion of this course, the student will have the skills and knowledge required to identify benign and malignant conditions of the breast, lymphoproliferative disorders, salivary and thyroid glands, soft tissue and bone; after being introduced to the corresponding anatomy, physiology, histology, and pathology.
