Examines the cytopathology of effusions, cerebrospinal fluids and other body fluids and the cytologic changes associated with benign and malignant processes.
Upon successful completion of this course, the student will have the skills and knowledge required to identify benign and malignant conditions of the CNS and cavity fluids after being introduced to the anatomy, physiology, histology, and pathology of CNS, pleura, and peritoneum.
