Students use the knowledge and skills acquired throughout the program to conduct significant, independent research or work on a real-life project relevant to their interest in the security field.
• Determine a security related topic for exploration and implementation, formulate a thesis statement and perform analysis • Conduct security research and analysis of cybersecurity incidents through online resources, books and library collections • Determine an organized plan and timeline for the completion of their project • Communicate effectively with their peers by presenting their work, collecting feedback and incorporating the given feedback in the revision or progress of their work • Write a polished final paper to present their findings and research results
