In this intermediate course students expand on introductory skills and techniques and will construct a work of their own design. Over the course of the semester, students will work with the instructor to design and build a piece of furniture. Instruction in the usage and techniques of both machine and hand tools are covered in conjunction with the execution of the finished piece.
