Study of the changing status of women, gender, sexuality, and social change through supervised placement in public and private agencies engaged in policymaking, education, political action, and research. Placement arrangements must be made the semester prior to registration; departmental permission is required. Graduate students may take the course for either 3 or 6 credits, with substantial additional research and writing of a case study required for 6 credits.
