This online course will engage students in the study of education policies and reforms that specifically focus on teaching and teachers. Further, this course will examine teacher leadership as it impacts school reform through professional development initiatives that sustain change efforts. Four areas of study ground the focus of this course: education policy, change theories and school reform, teacher leadership, and professional development.
