Pattern drafting and draping methods based on contemporary and historical clothing. Laboratory fee.
As a result of completing this course, students will be able to: 1. Identify major concepts and terminology used in patternmaking. 2. Analyze garments to determine proper construction techniques. 3. Create flat patterns from three-dimensional draping techniques. 4. Create a period garment completely from measuring your model to fully constructed and properly finished costume.
