Theory and execution of lighting design for theatre and dance. May be repeated for credit. Laboratory fee.
As a result of completing this course, students will be able to: 1. Demonstrate an understanding of the advanced principles of lighting design. 2. Demonstrate mastery the physical process of installing a lighting design. 3. Demonstrate understanding of advanced design principles including color theory, optics and distribution techniques. 4. Understand and apply the principles of electrical theory.
