Theories and practical application of lighting for theatre and dance. Laboratory fee.
As a result of completing this course, students will be able to: 1. Demonstrate an understanding of the principles of basic lighting design. 2. Demonstrate mastery the physical process of installing a lighting design. 3. Demonstrate understanding of basic design principles such as color theory, optics and distribution techniques. 4. Understand and utilize the principles of basic electrical theory.
