Commands, controls, and communications in modern multimodal transportation; infrastructure/highway and vehicle automation, advanced traffic management, vehicle control and safety systems; information, data, and sensory requirements; practical applications and projects.
1. Ability to analyze data, or apply simulation & modeling and/or experimental methods to analyze or design conceptual transportation and vehicular safety or efficiency systems based on various specified highway and vehicle related requirements (e.g. for safety, efficiency, etc.). 2. Ability to use multiple modes for explaining concepts and demonstrating results in written articles, briefs, and oral presentation.
