BME 2810 and BME 2815 are taken in sequence by students in the biomedical engineering major. Overview of the field of biomedical engineering, including biomechanics, bioinformatics, telemedicine, instrumentation, and medical imaging.
At the completion of this course, students should be able:
1. To understand the breadth of the application areas of Biomedical Engineering.
2. To determine the area of the Biomedical Engineering field that best suits your individual interests and career goals.
3. To develop the skills necessary to work in small groups to achieve defined project objectives.
