This course introduces handling and interpretation of large data sets. This differs from The Public Health course PUBH 6002 which concentrates on epidemiological data, and the Statistics course 6202 (Mathematical Statistics), either of which has previously been recommended to our students. The new course focuses on biological data, including genomic data, and fills an important niche for students in the biomedical sciences.
