An applied data analysis course focusing on procedures commonly used to analyze data from complex surveys such as the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey. Review of various types of sampling, sample design focusing on core components of complex surveys, and the statistical justification and procedures for including design effects in analytic models. Application of these concepts to real data using SAS and Stata.
