Provides students with an overview of the methods to plan, implement and evaluation health promotion and education programs targeted towards high risk and special populations. The course will review the socioeconomic, political-economic, cultural and psychosocial factors of populations who are considered to be at high risk for specific health problems and efforts that have been addressed in current health promotion programs.
