Lecture (3 hours), laboratory (1 hour). Simple and multiple linear regression, partial correlation, residual analysis, stepwise model building, multicollinearity and diagnostic methods, indicator variables.
As a result of completing this course, students should be able to: • Understand basic concepts of correlation, regression, model diagnostics and model building. • Know how to fit and interpret regression models and apply them in various fields. • Analyze and interpret Regression data using SAS. • Compare different competing regression models and select the best one among them.
