Capstone seminar for peace studies majors and minors in their junior or senior year. Taken concurrently with a relevant internship or as part of a long-term research project to probe the relationship between peace studies and conflict resolution in practice and in theory. Offered in the fall semester only.
1) Analyze multi-disciplinary approaches to peace and conflict 2) Understand and critique the influences of major figures and thinkers in Peace and Conflict Studies 3) Critically assess and present publicly an issue relevant to Peace and Conflict Studies based upon one’s own field work and/or research.
