Continuation of ARAB 1002. Further development of speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills of Arabic in culturally appropriate, proficiency-oriented contexts.
Upon successful completion of the course, students should be able to: 1. Understand and produce short utterances in familiar topics and contexts with reasonable accuracy; 2. Give and follow instructions to complete a task; 3. Read and understand texts of moderate length and identify main and supporting ideas of the text; 4. Write notes, short messages, and describe events and places using minimal textual cohesive devices; 5. Interact with others in a variety of social situation of immediate interest (e.g., family, study, travel)
