Establishing collection management policies. Laws, regulations, conventions, and codes that affect acquisitions; deaccessions, loans, and collection care; accountability; and access problems.
-Possess a working knowledge of basic procedures and policies related to collections care -Be familiar with the AAM Professional Code of Ethics for Registrars and understand its applications to the work of collections management -Be able to write and present clearly about issues related to collections management -Be familiar with current legal and ethical issues in collections management -Be familiar with resources and references related to collections managemnt

Museum Collections Mgt is the title of MStd 6202. How will the two courses be distinguished from each other?
