The labor force and labor markets. The legal environment of human resource management. Human resource planning; employee recruiting, selection, training, development, compensation, motivation, discipline, health and safety.
1) Students will understand the strategic role of human resource management in supporting the objectives of the organization.
2) Student will be able to understand, critique, and improve various components of human resource management systems and processes.
3) Students will develop skills in analyzing and evaluating human resource management problems and determining appropriate solutions.
