A variety of aerobic activities, including sports training and power walking. Each class includes a warm-up, aerobic segment, and cool down and stretching.
Course Learning Objectives – Upon completion of the course, students will be able to: - Demonstrate an understanding of the importance of cardiovascular exercise. - Demonstrate marked increases in cardiovascular fitness, muscular endurance, and flexibility as indicated by pre and post course testing. - Incorporate cardiovascular exercise into a complete exercise program. - Explain the importance of developing a lifestyle of physical activity. - Execute new exercises on their own via Home Exercise Plan (HEP)
