Analysis of migration's impact on development at various scales for both the sending and receiving localities.
1. Develop a geographical (or spatial) perspective of immigration and understand how immigration impacts development at different scales. 2. Recognize and evaluate various sources of data available on immigration trends. 3. Critique migration-led development policies as practiced in developing and developed countries through critical reading and writing. 4. Analyze a migration policy/trend and its impact on development in a particular setting.
