Examines the acute and chronic cardiovascular and pulmonary adaptations to exercise training. Special attention is given to the mechanisms that affect oxygen delivery and utilization during aerobic exercise. The responses to exercise in extreme environmental conditions are also explored. Topics are addressed in both lecture and laboratory experiences. Register separately for lab. Lab fee $40.
