Introduction to computer processing of speech and audio; acoustic sensor technologies and characteristics, direction fining, speech analysis and synthesis, audio formats and compression standards, time-varying autoregressive models, speech recognition, and automatic target recognition.
As a result of completing this course, students will be able to:
1. Analyze human speech synthesis model
2. Analyze human speech perception model
3. Apply digital speech processing algorithms
