Signal representation, sampling, discrete-time signals, z-transforms and spectra, difference equations; Fourier analysis; discrete Fourier transform, IIR and FIR filter design.
At the end of the course the student will be able to:
1. Use computer tools such as MATLAB.
2. Understand spectrum, sampling and discrete-time signals and systems.
3. Understand basic objectives in design of digital filters.
