The foundations of statistical methodologies used in business analytics; statistical inference and probability models; methods of estimation, hypothesis testing, contingency table analysis, analysis of regression models and logit and probit analysis.
1. Understand how statistical analysis is developed for different probability models and is used to answer inference questions relevant to managerial decision making. 2. Learn about how to develop statistical analysis of probability models using software tools and how to implement these by analyzing real life business data.
