Topics include scheduling, synchronization, system structure, virtual address spaces, memory management, I/O management, and systems abstractions for modern multi-core architectures. The course involves an implementation component and requires substantial programming experience. This course can be taken for credit by undergraduates who have taken CSCI 3411.
