A series of workshops covering project management techniques for analytics projects, team dynamics skills, communicating quantitative information, and ethics, security, and privacy policies in analytics.
This course is structured as a series of workshops designed to expose students to the following: • Project Management Techniques for Analytics Projects • Team Dynamics Skills • Communication Skills • Ethics, Security, and Privacy Policies in Analytics Upon completing the course, students will be able to better communicate their analysis to decision makers, clients, and stakeholders in analytics, manage analytics projects more efficiently and effectively, work within and manage analytics teams and cross-institutional contributors and collaborators, and understand the ethical and policy implications of analytics decisions. Students will overall have a better understanding and stronger skill sets in the business side of analytics.
The skills workshops are being combined into 2 1.5 credit course.
