This course focuses on the foundations of AutoCAD and basic drafting skills. Students learn the basics of computer-assisted drafting techniques, including basic drawing, dimensioning, layering, and various commands for drawing and document output. This course may be cross-tallied at the undergraduate level as CID 3050. Formerly titled: AutoCAD I
As a result of completing this course, students will be able to:
1. Build familiarity with AutoCAD commands.
2. Build familiarity with AutoCAD best practices
3. Work through practical examples of using computer software
4. Complete a Final Project building on class experience
