Organization and preparation of construction documents; methods and materials; application of codes; building systems (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) relevant to function and design of interior spaces.
As a result of completing this course, students will be able to:
- Experience building systems; mechanical, electrical, plumbing, voice/data, lighting, ceiling, floor security, and systems furniture
- Create construction documents
- Recognize interior products and materials for specific applications
- Demonstrate codes, laws, standards and regulations to protect health, safety and welfare of the public
