Students synthesize knowledge and define an area of interest that is well established or newly emerging within the discipline in preparation for the capstone project in Studio 5.
At the end of this course students should be able to:

o Develop critical thinking and employ it outside the classroom
o Define and recognize what information is germane to your line of inquiry / your topic of interest
o Diagram and visually organize the information that is relevant into graphics that will be used in your capstone presentation
o Relate sensitively to the human condition
o Construct knowledge about your given topic to be able to inform your capstone project in the next semester
