Application of fundamental knowledge of design to complex three-dimensional projects and small scale interior projects.
At the end of this course students should be able to:
1. Develop an individual aesthetic, a creative point of view, and a conceptual program for the project.
2. Apply the design process from programming to a functional interior space.
3. Apply, convey and articulate design intention.
4. Comprehend the principles of space planning and solve programming requirements to fit the intended space.
5. Evaluate selections of appropriate furniture, fixtures, equipment and finishes for residential design.
6. Create an architectural interior that addresses user needs and meets client requirements.
