Basic principles of scope, cost, schedule, risk, and quality management; the organization of construction firms at the general corporate level and the project level, flow of information between parties in the project, scheduling software.
As a result of completing this course, students will be able to:
• Define construction organizational structures, practices, and management systems.
• Describe project schedule/control concepts and the control cycle as they apply to
construction projects.
• Develop knowledge of tools used to measure, evaluate and calculate project performance.
• Create cost and resource loaded construction schedules and use the data to optimize them
