The study and practice of communication, development, and social change; theories and arguments informing debates and communication programs, merits and impact of various approaches, and design and implementation of communication programs.
As a result of completing this course, students will be able to:
1. Identify key concepts and research issues in communication, development, and social change. 2. Demonstrate ability to use theories and concepts in the analysis of communication for development
3. Critically assess the design, implementation and assessment of communication programs.
