Introduction to the theoretical and practical aspects of financial and derivative markets; application of quantitative and statistical approaches to a variety of problems.
At the close of the course students will be able to price, value and use swaps, futures and forwards to hedge positions, explain how arbitrage theory identifies a fair price, and use options and price them using the Black-Scholes model.
