Examination of alternative historical and contemporary perspectives on U.S. foreign policy.
As a result of completing this course, students will be able to:
1. recall significant events in the history of American foreign policy
2. understand the different conceptual traditions of American foreign policy
3. apply the history and concepts of American foreign policy to contemporary events and debates
