Analyzing and leveraging information throughout a sports organization; strategies for gaining competitive advantage on the field of play; player analysis; and business operations.
At the end of this course, students will be able to:

• Identify and analyze key metrics within player data (stats) and the analytics behind player values and trade decisions - Acting as a General Manager
• Utilize analysis software to assess player performance - Acting as a Coach
• Focus on the data behind the key revenue drivers such as ticket sales and sponsorships - Acting as a Team Business Operations Executive
• Manage specific data to define fan segments and their value to the organization - Acting as a Team Sports Analyst
