Independent applied research in engineering management culminating in the final praxis report and final examination for the degree of doctor of engineering. May be repeated for credit.
Upon completing the course, students will know how to:
1. Organize appropriate numerical data, historical research, and other evidence in support of an extended study
2. Think critically, using the latest engineering management concepts and tools to analyze data and previous research
3. Synthesize engineering management theory and practice and apply them to create value for practical use, to put forward a new, practicable solution to an existing, authentic engineering management problem
4. Organize, write, and defend a strong argument before a group of decision makers
