Outpatient student run clinic experience at Bread for the City medical clinic and Prince George’s county Department of Health. The clinics provide primary care to low income residents, regardless of their ability to pay. Students will be required to attend a minimum of twelve evening sessions during the course of the year. In addition students will be expected to serve on a committee and/or review and update evaluation data, curriculum, training manuals or other special projects deemed necessary by the student steering committee. Enrollment in the elective is limited. Limited number of slots are available for 4th year students. Community Health Track students and/or with experience as volunteer with student HEALing clinic are given registration priority.
