Communication leadership and management practices that facilitate successful project management; strategies and practices related to communication, change management, and performance reporting.
Students will be able to:

1. Identify the key components of a Communications Management Plan and their importance
2. Develop a customized Communications Management Plan that incorporates best practices explored in this course
3. Understand how to use strategic project communication to increase the effectiveness of project leadership and management
4. Explore options for using communication increase project success
5. Explore options for using change management processes to increase the likelihood of project success
6. Explore and apply strategies for measuring, reporting and communicating project performance
7. Further develop academic skills necessary to conduct literature reviews, apply best practices to new situations and draft academic papers
